After much waiting, Little Javier finally got his ‘Disney Cuties’ Mickey Mouse’ from Guardian.

With the help of family members, we managed to get 25 stickers in 3 weeks. I wouldn’t want to wait till 60 stickers because I’m afraid
‘Mickey’ would ran out of stock.

Now, we wouldn’t want that to happen do we? I don’t wanna break my little son’s heart. He loves Mickey.

TADA! 25 stickers collected. Last 4 stickers given by ‘grandma’!

Joe & Nancy’s Birthday

Posted on

Joe’s Birthday falls on the 8th of November while Nancy’s Birthday falls on the 5th in the same month. Joe had a mini birthday party at Delifrance, Leisure Mall on his bday. A few of his friends came and they had a great time even though time was short.

He was dressed in a tuxedo and shipped to Leisure Mall at 10am. LOL!

My mom made the birthday cupcakes as a gift to him.. there were 40 mini cupcakes in total and each one has its very own sugar craft. Some were decorated with Ben10 edible sheet and some had icing on top. Inside? Almond sugee which is my favourite now.

Below is Joe with his multiple girlfriends… thorn among the roses: L to R: Kimberly, Tanushri and Keshmeta.

Back home… after the party, it’s open presents time. He got a set of badminton rackets, a Lego box-set, a portable microscopic tool, 3 stationery sets, an Origami book, a box-set of Making Magic, a make your own Rolling Ball Marble Machine, etc.

Then in the evening, we went for dinner with my inlaws to celebrate both Joe and Nancy’s birthday at Crystal Jade, The Gardens Mall. Food is always good here, no doubt. Only the service and utensils are a bit on the down side.

Oooo.. another family picture to keep!

We asked a restaurant patron to snap this picture for us.. he used my N95 handphone camera. Just after I heard the CLICK, I heard ‘JAPPED’… he dropped my phone! The cover came off, the battery flew out and though my phone is working fine, it looks as if it survived a hurricane.

-Poor phoney! I’m going so change your torn tux.. I’ll get you a new suit soon… Just hang on! Right now, some 3M tapes will do.. :p

If you don’t, let me magnify it for you…

IMG_3335 See?

This is what Joe brings home everyday after school. He brings home a pair of black knees with yellow turned black tie and sometimes artsy mural prints on his white crisp shirt plus his very own creation of grey-dyed white shoes.

I always wonder what he does to achieve such highly intense pitch black knees. So.. one day, I caught him giving the canteen floor some scrub treatment. Not really actually, he was playing catching-catching or whatever new games they have nowadays. Hmm I think it’s called, ‘Polis dan Penjahat’.

So, that’s where the black knees came from. Moving on to the tie.. why is it black too! Never found out why but most probably from polishing the tables while he was having his recess. Next.. to the shirt.

Crumpled stencilled shirt in the afternoon

What is the answer?

A. scratched his itchy back at the wall/door/pillar

B. hid behind doors while playing hide and seek

C. played shirt stamping with shoes

I don’t know what the answer is.. but it should be all of the above. For answer A; I thought it myself, B; he told me, and C; because I saw shoe prints on his shirt.

Finally on the shoes. I think that Pallas brand of shoes last longer than Bata brand shoes. I’m talking about the school shoes. Bata Comfit slippers were good and comfy when I was preggars. Bata school shoes only last for 2 months with weekly scrubs and washes but Pallas can last up to 4 months and still going on. I’ll be happy to update on Joe’s shoes later.

White shoes fading grey. Normal for anyone. Joe says he slides on the floor sometimes and then he kicks the wall, rocks, chair, etc and he and his friends play stepping on each others’ shoes. Why oh why. Thank goodness for ‘white powder shoe coating’.

But.. who could ever blame him? I did and still nag him and I know of course it’s Child’s Play. I just don’t want him to catch infection or splinters when he’s doing what he does every single day. So.. today he came into the car with clean knees. I thought that was awkward. I asked him what took him so long and he said,

“Went to the loo.”
And he add in,
“Loo was flooded; shoes got wet!”
I, then said,
‘Did you washed your knees?”
Haha ‘”NOD…NOD” he indeed DID! Gotcha!

Judith and Javier wanted to take pictures too.. so here they are:

Judith wants to give her angry expression and I guess she succeed. However, Joe tried so hard but it was comical and I’m not releasing here due to his copyright.

Javier is showing his angry expression too.. FAILED! He’s cheery half the day and the other half consists of mood swings and cry therapy. He’s pouting now but not for very long. SUSU is his next expression.
