How was your Christmas? I hope you had a lovely one. When it comes to Christmas, the 2 most important thing that comes to mind are FOOD and PRESENTS. One; cook for the heart and the other; given from the heart.
This year, I missed out on the wonderful food that my family has prepared. But not to worry, I have all of them documented by Uncle Yan. Enjoy the pictures below and keep your mouth close while you’re at it. They can be really tempting!

October is filled with birthdays of not one or two but four in total (not including my long-lost girlfriend, Eirene; who is now flying with Singapore Airline – ‘You Go Girl!’).
I ought to start with the oldest and also the eldest but I haven’t got the pictures of FIL’s Birthday yet (pssst! I was in Riga – though will update that later here in this post. So, I’ll move on to the 2nd one.
(celebrated a day earlier because Cc had to fly to Bali the next day for her dance camp)
Hubby and I don’t always find time for ourselves.. well we do find time at home after work. We watch TV episodes together. I particularly love Ghost Whisperer whereas he likes Hell’s Kitchen. And then there are the ones where we share like CSI (Miami, Vegas, NY), Dexter, Lie to Me and recently Royal Pain.
There’s nothing like a good company before going to bed. But, the occasionally breakfast and lunch dates are pretty sweet too. So, one of the Saturdays, we left the kids with my in-laws while we went about sweeping the Bukit Bintang streets. We can never do this when kids are around, walking by the roadside and crossing the street never ever comes to mind. Because outdoors are pretty dangerous when it comes to the Golden Triangle and road users aren’t very friendly either.
So hand in hand, me with my handbag and Hubby with his camera, we combed the streets….
I turned 25, two days ago. And I’ve got all the people I love and the people who loves me around me. And that really makes me happy.
Hubby got me a surprise on the 8th, the day before. He planted a Thomas Sabo Box in my day bag and when I got home from work to upload stuff into my bag, I saw this striking white box.
This charm is very special.. it represents me as a mother in different languages.
Whereas, this snowflake charm meant that I’ve experienced snow before.. haha just days ago only!

So.. how did my family celebrated my 25th Birthday? Hehe.. ok.. the Pops and Mops went for a holiday in Bali along with my sister and her other half days before my bday. So, right after we touched down on Thursday from our business trip to Frankfurt, and after a short bath of course, we headed off for my celebratory dinner at ‘CHUI MAO’ restaurant along Jalan Peel.

After dinner, we went home and cut my Birthday Cake that mom made for me! It’s super filled with chocolate and a little bit of orange zest.

So… on my Birthday, while Hubby was busy sending the kids to school and while he took leave to be the househusband at home; while my brother slept through the morning; and while my parents and sister were in Bali, I was busy prepping myself for work. I put on my Birthday Presents happily and I knew that it’s going to be a wonderful day filled with well wishers.
Well, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everybody that made my Birthday a great one… for well-wishers with well-wishes… for your thoughts and thots plus those with typing skills specially those on FB.
