I’ve been SNUPPED

by elena.kwok

Have you ever heard of Snupped? Well, if you are arching your eyebrows then just go ahead and click on any Snupped you seeĀ or if you’re lazy to open a new tab, just read along and I will pin-point you a little bit about Snupped and the brain(S) behind it!

WHO?

  • Believe or not, it was founded by 2 guys; Bryan and Darcy

WHAT?

  • Snupped is the world’s first company that allows you to custom create your very own gadget cases online

WHEN & WHERE?

  • In 2008, Singapore

WHY?

  • Bryan couldn’t find a perfect sleeve for his laptop so he created one then the creativity started and here they are!

WHY IS IT SO COOL?

  • tailored to fit = custom case
  • made to order = one of a kind
  • hand made = LOVE

I bought the first Snupped in 2008 when Snupped was still a baby. I customized a laptop zipper sleeve for my sister for her 29th Birthday. You may read all about it. Just click on the link below:

Elaine’s 29th Birthday

So, 3 years later I got my very own Snupped. And it was Snupped-ingly great! I chose my own print, own inner design, stated my gadget, made payment and waited for my Snupped to arrive. It took 25 days to reach me (felt like forever-and yes I counted). So, check out my Snupped casing for my Kindle.

Pretty HUH? Go get one for yourself today. Be it for your hand phone, laptop, camera, hard disk, e-reader or whatever gadgets that you have.

It fits perfectly and in the future, I might do a little pimping on my casing. My Kindle tends to slide out of the casing easily these days because I read my Kindle so often that the going in and out of the gadget made the casing less fitted than before. But, I still love my Snupped casing. Stay tuned for the pimping action!

Deck The Days With….busyness?

by elena.kwok

Hi guys. I know I’ve been in and out of blogging. I shocked myself looking at my very own blog calendar. Oh dear me! I had only posted one post for the month of December! So sorry to readers who visited my blog and found nothing new!

Since Christmas has come and still hasn’t go; the New Year’s coming right up and school break ends, I”m gonna’ be a busy working mommy once again. Hopefully and I’m crossing my fingers, that I will still have time to leave updates here.

The next update will definitely be the Christmases Day I had and the one I missed! Until then, I’ll leave you with a short poem that I’ve improvised throughout the days between work, bed-time, and free time.

Christmas has come and go, New Year’s still at dusk
Hope you guys enjoyed yours, hope they were a blast
What a wonderful year, the year 2010 that has passed
Hello 2011, we’ve long waited for you at last

Bad days we have encountered
Good days we have pleasured
There are many more days un-assured
So be prepared, equipped and geared

Whatever that you have lost
Be glad to let go of the woes
Friends and families we love most
Appreciate them, dun let them on a noose

A New Year with a new beginning
With daily resolutions not over empowering
A simple life worth every penny living
With love and care utmost perfecting

Political issues arises here and there
Both at home and in office elsewhere
Why not close one eye and lend an ear
Because forgive and forget saves a tear

Problem arises each every day
Mostly simple, a few stuck in hay
There’s no backward, no turning away
So live fully, work hard and spend some time to play

Lets go forward and see what the day brings
Nothing comes easy, money doesn’t make you king
Lets be hopeful and spread some wings
Do what you love and be grateful for everything

I’m afraid I’ve to leave this poem with a heavy heart
Because sometimes, I can’t stop after I start
Be sure to come by and read my blog
New updates are coming; moving like a slow jog

A Night in Genting

by elena.kwok

We had a night in Genting recently. While Jake attended the GoldenBull Awards in the Genting International Convention Centre (GICC), the kids and I tagged along but instead of having dinner under the stars, I opt for a night with the kids at First World Theme Park. This was a last minute thingy. The kids and I were only supposed to stay home but since the next day was a Saturday and the kids have longed to go Genting, why not ‘kill two birds with one stone’ right?

So, we managed to leave work a little after 4pm, rushed home, prepped the kids and myself then off we went zooming to Genting Highlands. Roads on Fridays are always hectic. So we decided to use the DUKE highway instead of the MRR2. My boss was stuck at the stretch after MRR2 for an hour and half.

The kids didn’t know where we were going, so we asked them to take a nap. But of course with their smart thinking and curiosity, they found out that we were off to Genting!!!! Then, the commotion began, questions were proposed and on and on it went. We arrived up at First World Hotel at 7.15pm to find out the jockey was FULL.

ALAMAK! So, we drove one round and parked at Highlands Hotel and it was already 7.25pm. Jake had to run all the way to to GICC with his fedora and jacket while the kids and I took our time going down escalators and chatting away.

So so…. JAM!

From the Vault, Just for Laughs!

by elena.kwok

Firstly, Happy Belated Independence Day to my fellow Malaysian Readers. I went through my photos a week ago and found some funny pictures that I thought I should share. It’s not going to embarass anyone. They’re truthful and lovely pictures that show a person’s many side which he or she might not even know existed. Be it sadness, happiness, corniness, silliness or just simply themselves.

What not a better way to start this then starting with one of my pictures, right?

Okay I didn’t tiny-size it… I actually accidentally down-sized the whole album of our short holiday in Awana Kijal.. LOL!
