Me on Mother’s Day

Posted on

So… what was your Mother’s Day like? Mine lasted a whole long day! From morning till night! Well, it started the day before actually because Javier couldn’t wait to present me his crafty paper bouquet of flowers which he made in kindy with the help of his teacher. It’s one of a kind thing and something I’ve never seen before. I am so proud of him!

Soon… this bouquet of flowers will be adorning my office table

Deck The Days With….busyness?

Posted on

Hi guys. I know I’ve been in and out of blogging. I shocked myself looking at my very own blog calendar. Oh dear me! I had only posted one post for the month of December! So sorry to readers who visited my blog and found nothing new!

Since Christmas has come and still hasn’t go; the New Year’s coming right up and school break ends, I”m gonna’ be a busy working mommy once again. Hopefully and I’m crossing my fingers, that I will still have time to leave updates here.

The next update will definitely be the Christmases Day I had and the one I missed! Until then, I’ll leave you with a short poem that I’ve improvised throughout the days between work, bed-time, and free time.

Christmas has come and go, New Year’s still at dusk
Hope you guys enjoyed yours, hope they were a blast
What a wonderful year, the year 2010 that has passed
Hello 2011, we’ve long waited for you at last

Bad days we have encountered
Good days we have pleasured
There are many more days un-assured
So be prepared, equipped and geared

Whatever that you have lost
Be glad to let go of the woes
Friends and families we love most
Appreciate them, dun let them on a noose

A New Year with a new beginning
With daily resolutions not over empowering
A simple life worth every penny living
With love and care utmost perfecting

Political issues arises here and there
Both at home and in office elsewhere
Why not close one eye and lend an ear
Because forgive and forget saves a tear

Problem arises each every day
Mostly simple, a few stuck in hay
There’s no backward, no turning away
So live fully, work hard and spend some time to play

Lets go forward and see what the day brings
Nothing comes easy, money doesn’t make you king
Lets be hopeful and spread some wings
Do what you love and be grateful for everything

I’m afraid I’ve to leave this poem with a heavy heart
Because sometimes, I can’t stop after I start
Be sure to come by and read my blog
New updates are coming; moving like a slow jog

The 6th Paperworld Shanghai

Posted on

Hello Shanghai!

We went there for the 6th Paperworld Shanghai which was held at the Shanghai New International World Expo Centre (SNIEC).

Expo commenced on the 15th and lasted till 18th of September.

We took the MAS midnight flight but since it got delayed for 6 hours, we ended with a morning flight.

Stranded Midnight = No Shopping

(First plane – already inside, settled down, already asleep but still on ground. They made an announcement saying a passenger was missing. Even in my sleep, I can smell engine burning which made me woke up. Then, we were asked to leave the aircraft because there was a technical problem)

(Second plane – already inside, settle down, almost asleep then announced that the external generator broke down. Wait…. wait…. when they have changed the generator, they found out there’s not enough fuel. Wait….. for the ground crew to manually push the aircraft to the right parking space to refuel.. then finally we took off)

Celebrating Mum’s Day

Posted on

Even before Mother’s Day was near, I was cracking my head over which day to celebrate with the mother of my husband and the mother of mine. It was uncertain because everyone has plans and it was hard to unforeseen to certain certainties.

But at the end of the week, and that was Friday night.. we finally decided Saturday was for MIL and Sunday was for my mom. Thank God weekends have 2 days and luckily, the venues we eyed on at the last minute were on our sides.

We booked to dine at Hanazen, a Japanese restaurant at Jaya One. We’ve been there before with the kids. It was memorable. Therefore, we thought it would be great dine as a crowd and hopefully to get the private room which we did.
