Coffee Hunters: Seraph Awaken @ Klang

We’re going for a drive!!!!

During one of the weekends, hubs said let’s go to Klang and that’s what we did! I was sooo excited!!!

We went looking for Seraph Awaken, a highly recommended cafe with their renowned hand brew coffee method.

Though reviews said it’s a hipster-ish cafe, I don’t find it that hipster-ish but I do like it’s kopitiam decor which makes this place so unique unlike so many other cafes I’ve been.

Seraph Awaken is run by a husband and wife team, Chun Hoong and Cheau See. Both of them have been in the coffee industry for more than 7 years and their dream is to have a coffee shop. They started their business by setting up roadside stalls with their Kancil then with determination and passion, they made it! Their very own kopitiam, one to call their own.

Found it! Nestled in between old shop lots.

Somebody couldn’t wait to get a seat, left me outside

We chose to sit at the counter because that’s the best spot to “kepoh”

That’s the coffee beans menu ☕

This is the menu for types of hand brew coffee along with other kinds of coffees and teas

Mind you, they only serve coffee and tea here. Plenty of selection especially flower teas. Their signature drink is the hibiscus coffee which we skipped. No food selection except for cakes however lucky for us, there was a special collaboration going on between Seraph Awaken and LI’s Restaurant (Damansara Jaya). It was #WEEKENDINKLANG so LI’s Restaurant was serving their special homemade sourdough bread with kaya.

This was the #WEEKENDINKLANG – French Press Brewed Coffee Mussoorie with Homemade Sourdough Toast & Sous Vide Kaya (RM20)

Check out how awesome this Hario Largo Tea Dripper works. Our first thought was Joe would love this! Too bad stock was unavailable <Updates – eventually, we got it from BEAM>

That’s habibi’s filter coffee in the making by the owner himself, Chun Hoong ⌛

Pretty Coffee Flowers, I adore thee

Can’t leave without trying this gula melaka crepe cake. It was surprisingly good; sweetness was just right.

A picture of us before we leave this crowded place
