We finally tried Chir Chir Fusion Chicken Factory (Pavilion Elite). Since the MRT has commenced, going to KL is no-biggie! Woo-hoo.
So…let’s go shall we?
Of course, we have to order the original recipe which is Crispy Fried Chicken. It comes in ’10 ketuls’. Served with honey mustard sauce and a tiny side of salsa. Marinated for 6 hours in Chir Chir’s house seasoning, deep fried to perfection. It’s yummy even without the dipping sauce.
Second dish was the Spicy Chicken which comes in ’10 ketuls’ as well. A little pricier but nonetheless tasty. Marinated in Chir Chir’s special hot sauce and topped with almond flakes. It is spicy but it’s bearable and Malaysians love getting their tongues to ‘joget‘.
For sides, we ordered Chir Chir’s Cheese Fries served with sour cream and a few stalks of celery. It was good but not glorious. For me, it was way too cheesy and it’s best to gulp them when they are still hot or they’ll turn chewy once cold.
Behold! Drinks time. The dishes may not burn your wallet as a platter can be shared up to 3-4 persons but I can’t say the same for the drinks though. When you are having not only tasty but sinful moreover heaty fried chicken, you are bound to be thirty so you can’t forgo the refreshments!
Kids ordered the Sparkling Series which cost RM18.90/cup
I ordered their recommendation, Chir Cream Beer which goes really well with the fried chicken! It’s light and refreshing but it took me awhile to get to the liquid section of my drink. The cream on top isn’t bad at all, just fatty.
Overall, I’d give this place a 7/10. I’ve been there twice and will go back again. If you guys decide to give it a try, the address is below.
