Ben…. are you in London?

Delightful flight to London!

We are flying with Lufthansa!!!! Up in the air fun-time.

London Subway

When you are in London, you have to take the tube. Who doesn’t anyway? You?

Haha… London’s tube is easy to use. They have multiple exits/entrances as well; the only downfall was while we were there in January, the main line was down for maintenance! We were horrified but fret not. Frequent travelers like us won’t let anything spoil our trip. There are alternatives and alternatives are filled with surprises!

I took tonnes of pictures but I can’t afford to upload them all here. So, I’m just going to handpick a few ‘main attractions’ to share. And please be reminded, they are mine (ours) kind of main attractions and they might not be yours. But just bloody absorb, will ya?

We stayed near Paddington Station – just a 5 minute walk to and fro from the hotel

OXFORD CIRCUS

Where the shopping begins!!!

They have brands like: PRIMARK, Boots, Debenhams, M&S, H&M, UNIQLO, Hamleys, ESPRIT, John Lewis, Urban Outfitters, Zara, Niketown, Forever 21, American Apparel, Pull & Bear, Selfridges, Topshop, Russell & Bromley, etc.

Need I say more? It’s all one long street. You’ll walk and shop till you drop!

PORTOBELLO MARKET

Where daily life marketing and marketeers are!

Absolutely love this market. I’m afraid I love it more than Oxford. Food is everywhere; coffee is aromatic, people are just welcoming, old and new are seen, even money changers are available by the pavement! Legit or not, I don’t know!

 Secret rendezvous…

…with Coffee Republic

And… check this out,

BETT Show – Visiting the show was part of the itinerary. The show was big and there were many huge competitors. This is one of the most interesting and exciting shows that we’ve ever been to. Kinda like eye-opening.

BETT show

Westminster Abbey – where the wedding of Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge and Catherine Middleton took place. It’s surreal to be here looking at the church itself. Was delighted! I so adore Kate!

Westminster Abbey

Lord Moon of The Mall-  where we had our lunch. It was a Sunday so it’s family day. The pub was packed with families and we were in awed with the food portions!

Malaysia Tourism London Office – located just opposite Trafalgar Square

And… here we are finally at Big Ben!
We’ve seen you Ben but we still have not seen enough of you yet.
So long and farewell; we’ll see you again!
