Nagomi,

on a sunny Sunday filled with joy and laughter.

Where: Jaya33, KL.

It’s a post on food again.

I don’t think I could ever start a food blog as I’m always forgetting something somewhere in between savoring meals.

To start off, I always forget about the prices, the food pictures and probably skipped out the reviews.

I mean, food are either good or bad, right? If it’s good, the plate will be wiped clean and if it’s bad, you’ll never return. For me, if it ain’t my cup of tea, I’d leave a portion lying there and when they give me that look, I’ll let them know it sux. Well, I won’t mutter ‘THIS SUX’, I’d probably go with the one lop-sided smile.

Klang Bak Kut Teh in Pavilion KL

Fancy some ribs?

Where?

Pao Xiang Bak Kut Teh,

Level 6 of Pavilion, KL.

What’s more?

Why would one eat Bak Kut Teh in Pavilion? Never would we have thought of doing so but we did what we thought we wouldn’t, but believe me it ain’t that bad! (did I just did a tongue twister?) Bak Kut Teh @ ‘meat bone tea’ is a Chinese soup simmered with a mixture herbs and spices for hours to bring out the wonderful aroma that you can smell from afar (gosh I’m hungry oledi). And of course, you add meat, mushrooms, veges, intestines, etc. You can find Bak Kut Teh throughout Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Hong Kong and some say Indonesia.

A Night @ The Night Market

Posted on

I had a wonderful time with Hubby at the night market near our home last Thursday. We planned for dinner at the night market a month back but was always backed by the weather or some other environmental issues. Finally, the weather treated us right and Hubby found his long time love called, “Bakso”.

What’s “Bakso”? Bakso are actually meatballs. In Indonesia, meatballs are called Bakso. Erm did I just repeat the phrase? Anyway, Bakso is really delicious. It’s normally served in a bowl and dined by the roadside in Indonesia. It’s full of spices, filled with meatballs, sometimes with noodles and that very tasty crispy thingy. Oooo.. Yummy Mummy is moving… MOVED already!

Posted on

Hey guys.. Yummy Mummy is finally getting its own domain and space. I know it’s not been long since I started blogging but I think I’ve grown a lot (matured not fat) so, therefore I must move on.

www.elena-bloggingtheblog.blogspot.com

Now it’s only… www.elenajake.com

Yes.. I know my previous web address was kinda like a tongue twister. Who names and spells it this way anyway? ELENA that is! Maybe I should rename my blog from Yummy Mummy Blogging the Blog to YMBB. Ö

Don’t panic if my blog theme is pink in the morning, green at noon or black by night because currently, it’s still in the midst of refurbishment. Need a few more fixtures just like having a new home needing some furniture. I’ve always wanted to this a long time ago (last year actually) but never have the guts to import my posts to a new space (what if it went haywire?) but.. yes there’s the BIG BUT. THANKFULLY, I’ve got some help from tech-wise people like William and Demsi to do innovation work on my blog .

Wait… is my blog a guinea pig? Haha… only kidding. Hopefully I’ll catch up with the new layout and editorial stuff so I can start blogging again. In the meantime, watch this space. If you want updates on my new blog, please email me at;

e.l.e.n.a._.j.a.k.e.@nospam.hotmail.com (remove all the fullstop and the nospam)

I’ll mail you once my page is up and alive but don’t worry I won’t send you junk-mails, probably quirky ones instead. Hope to hear from you and I hope you’ll hear from me soon.
