On the first day of CNY, we work up late and laze… Called grams and uncles; set the day ablaze… Red packets and mandarin oranges all in place…Such a beautiful day; spend it wisely never go to waste. Uncle and aunties came for a visit… We exchanged ‘lai si’ less than a minute..Lots to say…….

Chinese New Year’s Eve is also the ‘reunion dinner’ day where all sons have to go back to their mommy’s house; and that includes the son’s wife… which is ME!
